Call for Applications – Licence 1 Scholarships (Academic Year 2025–2026) Durmongaa Education Pour Tous, a non-profit organization registered in Chad under N°013/POD/DAS/SG/2024, is committed to improving access to quality education and school life.
In partnership with Université d’Adam Baraka d’Abeché and several humanitarian and educational organizations, we are pleased to officially launch the call for applications for our Bachelor’s Degree (Licence 1) Scholarship Program for the 2025–2026 academic year.
This scholarship program is exclusively open to young Sudanese refugee and Chadian girls currently living in Chad, with the aim of promoting access to higher education, women’s empowerment, and the social reconstruction of communities affected by humanitarian crises.
Who Can Apply ?
This scholarship is strictly reserved for female applicants who meet the eligibility criteria listed below.
Candidates must currently reside in Chad, either in refugee camps or host communities under 25 years old.
Eligible Fields of Study: –
Agriculture – Economics and Management – Social Sciences and Humanities – Science and Technology – Medicine – Media – Physics – Political Science – History
Eligibility Criteria (Strictly Applied):
Applicants must:
Hold refugee status recognized by UNHCR or relevant Chadian authorities (mandatory for refugee applicants).
Be of Sudanese or Chadian origin, currently residing in Chad.
Have obtained the Baccalaureate (or equivalent) between 2023 and 2024.
Be under the age of 25 as of 1 October 2025. Not already be enrolled in a university or higher education institution.
Commit to regular attendance and compliance with university rules. . Submit a handwritten motivation letter outlining their career goals.
Required Documents: –
Legalized copy of Baccalaureate certificate.
Copy of refugee card or certificate (for refugee applicants).
Copy of national ID or birth certificate (for Chadian applicants).
Curriculum Vitae (1 page max). Motivation letter (1 page max) in English or French.
Two recommendation letters (teachers or humanitarian staff, if possible).

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Selection Process:
Applications will be evaluated based on academic merit, motivation, and vulnerability.
A selection committee, comprising representatives from the university and partner organizations, will assess all submissions.
Selected candidates will be notified starting 1st September 2025.
